Introducing NotlyAI Chat: Ask Your Transcripts Anything
We built NotlyAI to make spoken content searchable, and the next step is letting you have a conversation with your transcripts. NotlyAI Chat is now live in beta for every customer—powered by the same credit system you already use for transcription.
Why transcript chat?
Transcripts are rich with context. Instead of manually scanning pages of text, NotlyAI Chat helps you:
- Summarise long meetings in seconds
- Pull action items or speaker quotes on demand
- Clarify follow-up questions without re-listening to the original audio
- Brainstorm next steps with AI grounded in the exact words that were spoken
Because the chat only uses segments from your transcript, answers stay relevant and trustworthy. Each prompt simply consumes credits, just like a minute of transcription.
How it works today
- Transcribe with credits – upload your audio or video and let NotlyAI create the transcript.
- Open the chat tab – select any completed transcript and start a conversation.
- Ask anything – request summaries, bullet points, quotes, or clarifying questions. Responses stream in real time.
Every prompt currently uses the same credit balance you already manage—which keeps pricing predictable while we iterate quickly.
What’s coming with subscriptions
Credits will remain the backbone of billing, but we know heavy users need more scheduling and export options. We’re building optional subscriptions that will add:
- Bundled chat usage and higher context limits
- Faster model tiers for long-form analysis
- Organized chat folders that sit alongside your transcript library
- Priority support so mission-critical work stays moving
If you’re interested in piloting the subscription experience, watch our blog for updates. You’ll keep full access to credit-based transcription regardless of whether you subscribe.
Get started today
Sign in, upload a recording, and click “New chat” from your dashboard. You’ll get the best of both worlds: flexible credits right now and a clear roadmap for collaboration features arriving soon.
